Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

OC Quest takes children's privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

We collect: (a) parent email address for account management; (b) child's first name and school year level; (c) learning data including answers, scores, XP, streaks, and time spent on questions. We do NOT collect the child's surname, date of birth, address, or any other identifying information.

2. How We Use Data

Learning data is used solely to: personalise question difficulty, track progress, power gamification features (XP, streaks, pets), and show parents their child's progress via the dashboard. We never sell or share data with third parties for marketing.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure servers in Singapore. We use encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

4. Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to: access all data associated with your child's profile, export learning data as CSV, delete your child's profile and all associated data at any time, and delete your entire account. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected] or use the account management features in the app.

5. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies from third parties.
